Terms & Conditions.
The customer agrees to have YELLOW BIRD WASTE MANGAMENT will provide waste services, I understand that during this term my base rate will remain the same with no price increases unless costs outside of our control such as disposal fees, or tax increases are incurred. I understand that I have the right to cancel this agreement in writing at any time with no charges assessed to me.
By providing a phone number(s) and or email address, the customer hereby authorizes the seller to communicate with the customer via automated means or otherwise, regarding any changes in service, billing, or special promotions offered. Walters Disposal will never sell or share any of your personal information with any outside companies.
Service Requirements
Waste carts must be placed curbside the night before pickup (e.g., Monday night for Tuesday service). Those with concierge service will have their carts at the agreed upon spot the night before. Yellow Bird Waste Management is not responsible for cleanup caused by animals, especially when bags are left outside the provided carts.
Billing & Invoicing
Services are billed net 14 and are due on the 1st of the month. Initial invoices may include prorated charges depending on service start date. Invoices will be sent via email and available through the online customer portal on the first business day of each month. Late payments may accrue a 1.5% late fee. Past-due accounts may be subject to suspension until payment is received. Returned payments, including rejected ACH payments, will be subject to a $45.00 processing fee. YELLOW BIRD WASTE MANGAMENT try to contact the customer regarding any late or past due amounts. The customer is ultimately responsible for following credit terms and updating forms of payment for automatic payments up to and including updating expiration dates.
Waste Material and Restrictions:
In accordance with regulation 0400-12-01-.02 Identification and Listing of Hazardous Waste,
Yellow Bird Waste Management does not collect hazardous waste. Any waste that is found to be contaminated with hazardous waste will be rejected and will be the responsibility of the service address to dispose of properly.
NON-ACCEPTABLE MATERIAL:
Toxic/Hazardous Waste, Liquid Paint, Leaves/Brush/Trees/Stumps, Appliances, Lithium Batteries, Oil, Steel/Plastic Drums, Tires, Electronics, Flammables
Overages
We recognize that waste volume fluctuates. We will collect 1–3 extra 13–15-gallon size bags placed beside the 95-gallon cart at no additional cost. If overages become consistent across 3–4 pickups per month, The service address will contact to discuss wear or not any additional waste cart will need to be add to the account.
Vacation Holds
We offer prorated or credited vacation holds for periods when residents will not generate waste. Please contact us to let us know as soon as possible if any vacation holds are needed. (931) 266-3520
Holds must be submitted before the scheduled pickup day. Holds are designed for times when the resident is away and no garbage is produced. Misuse of vacation holds may result in loss of hold privileges.
Holiday & Hazardous Weather Delays
If the local landfill is closed for any reason:
1-day closure: Service delayed by 1 day
2-day closure: Service delayed by 2 days
3+ day closure: Regular schedule resumes
We prioritize timely communication and appreciate patience under these conditions. Safety of our community is paramount.
Waste Cart Usage & Customer-Owned Carts
Each address receives one free 95-gallon waste cart for use during active service. If a resident opts out of using the provided cart, they must supply their own cart no larger than 96 gallons and compatible with our mechanical tipper equipment. Carts larger than 96 gallons will incur an additional fee of $0.18 per gallon, based on manufacturer markings. If size cannot be verified by manufacturer markings, the resident must use the free cart or provide a compliant cart. Yellow Bird Waste Management is not liable for damage to customer-owned carts (wear, weather, accidental impact, or operational use). We are also not responsible for damage caused by any waste cart before or after service, particularly due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Property Access:
The service addresses will provide Yellow Bird Waste Management with all necessary access for:
· Delivery of Yellow Bird–owned waste carts before service begins.
· Verification of size of any privately owned waste carts before services begin.
· Waste collection.
· Retrieval of Yellow Bird–owned waste carts when service ends.
Cancellation of Service
Either party may cancel service with written notice at least one week prior to the final pickup date. All cancellations must be communicated YELLOW BIRD WASTE MANGAMENT by calling (931)266-3520. We do not except any 3rd party cancellations.
Upon cancellation:
· Any prepaid services will be prorated to the final service date.
· All provided waste carts remain the property of Yellow Bird Waste Management and must be returned.
· At the scheduled retrieval, carts must be empty.
· Carts containing waste at retrieval will incur an additional service fee at the prorated weekly rate.
Terms of Service Updates
Yellow Bird Waste Management reserves the right to update Terms of Service as necessary.
Updates will be published publicly for transparency and easy access by all customers.
